This beginning-level project is designed for youth with limited or no experience in flower gardening. Youth are required to complete five activities that guide decision-making and preparation of a flower garden, whether in the ground or in containers. In the second year, youth should use a new project book to document their decisions for a new and different garden. This two-color publication is 50 pages, with appendices on making a soil jar, suggested annuals, and suggested plants for containers.
